The Space Between

Earth Lodge, Antigua, Guatemala - June 2025

This series used textures, tension, openness, and layering to explore the balance at the edge of holding on and letting go. The pieces didn't follow a strict pattern — they were small studies of what happens in the in-between: in the space that holds both connection and distance.

The exhibition took place at the beautiful Earth Lodge in Antigua, and featured handcrafted textile works by Saci Kovach, blending macramé, crochet, and weaving techniques. Each piece was made with natural dyes and a mix of Guatemalan materials — cotton, wool, and upcycled elements gathered from the beach and local secondhand markets.
