The Makers

Fueguita products is made slowly, by a small group of artisans across Guatemala. Every garment is chosen carefully, every design decided together, every stitch placed by hand.

Doña Irma

Seamstress Team

Antigua, Guatemala

When a shirt arrives from the pacas, Irma is the first to look at it. She checks the condition, and together we decide - does it stay as a shirt, or does it become something else? If it stays, she sews the label. If it becomes a kimono, shorts, or a dress, she starts cutting. Every transformation passes through her hands.

Iraida and her team
